We support people to do the extraordinary everyday.

BrightHands Caregivers LLC  is a provider of home care and staffing services helping families taking care there love ones, giving them the opportunity to feel free from the hassle.

We are proud of our compassionate home care program designed to help people stay at home and healthier longer.

Our proud history

It all began in 1999 when our third daughter was born, her name Amanda. Amanda was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLS) before she was born. Then she was diagnosed with another syndrome called Cornelia D’ Lange Syndrome (CDLS) right at birth, and later she was diagnosed with another syndrome, this time was Dandy Walkers Syndrome (DWS).

My wife and I had to adjust our lifestyle to take care Amanda, we had to learn a lot on how to help her live the life as normal as possible despite she couldn’t speak or walk. My parents were taking care of my sister who suffers hemiplegia on her left side of her body due to a brain tumor when she was only 19 years old.

They also were taking care of my uncle who suffers sever congenital mental retardation. I had transfer from my job to Florida and I move to Hollywood and keep working. Couple of years later my parents also move to Hollywood, Florida with my sister and uncle, due to their elder condition, they couldn’t keep taking care my sister and my uncle, and they move them to a nursing home

In 2013 I was laid off my job as an IT in a big pharmacy company, on the same month we learn that my sister and my uncle was miss treated in the nursing home they were living in, and I had to pull them out of there and take them to my house, now my wife and I had to take care three people. In 2014 my parents, who now were living alone in their apartment, unfortunately due to their age they just couldn’t live alone anymore, and again we decide to take care of them as well.

In 2015 my sister got worse since she was living with the condition from 1982 and we had to find a better place for her that was clinically prepared than a regular nursing home. Sadly, in October 19, 2016 my daughter Amanda passed away at the age of 17 years old.

It was a hard process to deal with, and up to this date still is. But we still had more people to take care of, my father who suffers a severe rheumatoid arthritis, he barely can walk.

Sadly, once again, we had another hard moment, this time my sister passed away in August, 2019. From that moment on we knew, that what we were doing about taking care our love ones it was something that wasn’t for everybody. That is why we decide to create an agency, and we start an investigation on how to start an agency and implement our knowledge helping others, and BrightHands Caregivers was born.

Our company may have only few months of being created but our experience of taking care others comes from 1999 that’s twenty years of on-hand experience.
